Candidate should have proven successful field experience in some or all of the following: Access Control (preferably Honeywell ProWatch Software), Electronic Door Locking Hardware, Control Panel Wiring, CCTV (preferably Honeywell equipment, Enterprise and MaxPro Softwares), Intrusion Detection (Vista and Radionics), Fire Alarm (Notifier, Silent Knight, Gamewell/FCI, Fire Lite, Vista and Radionics), Intercom (AiPhone).

Education/Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of integrated security systems/technical installations experience to include extensive experience in construction environments and has proven success in the completion of projects.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical documents, including legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write well-articulated written responses including letters and emails to customers.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in verbal or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office; and internet software in order to perform technical research as required.

Job Requirements

Perform work according to the project installation functions for Advantech including rough in, trim-out, activation/training and related activities.

Attend project progress meetings and participate to communicate needs and to request information needed to provide a high quality installation.

You are responsible to study manufacture/vendor literature (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion and Fire Alarm System) to include data sheets, online document and listen to CD tutorials.  You will attend seminars, courses, classes and presentation meetings with manufacture/vendor representatives when they visit Advantech.
